Don't waste your money on one of these things because it WILL be a waste of your money. I've purchased two different models of their units over the last 4-5 years with the most recent just being in November. The small unit I bought years ago worked once and then failed to charge from that point forward. The large unit I purchased that claims it can jumpstart a 6L+ V8 back in November never even worked once. I was having battery issues with my Nissan Armada where it failed to start early in November but when I had the battery and alternator checked they both came back as being good. I figured it was the huge buildup of corrosion on the negative post of the battery which I cleaned up the night it died that caused the issue, but just in case I bought one of the big jump starters to keep in the truck so that I wouldn't get stranded somewhere. Of course a few weeks later the truck dies in my work parking lot, but that's okay because I'll be able to give myself a jump with the jump started I bought for exactly this potential issue! No. Before I could even see if the thing was actually able to jump start my truck I tried to push the button on it that turns the jump starter portion on and the whole farking button just popped into the housing of the unit. Had to force that piece of shit plastic out of the way so I could use a screwdriver to manually hit the actual little button that was underneath it to turn the unit on. Finally got that done (in 20 degree, windy, snowy weather mind you) and when I went to try to start the truck the useless thing wasn't powerful enough to do it. Ended up just having to call the one person that could access the location I was at to bring me a new battery that I swapped in right then and there in the parking lot.
TLDR
These EverStart Maxx units fail miserably at their one main job, literally fall apart when you try to use them, and are a complete and utter waste of money. Stay FAR away.
Avoid the entire EverStart line. 0 for 2 on these things actually reliably doing what they're supposed to be designed to do. Buy one of the ones that Costco or Sams Club is offering or spend a little more for a higher quality one if you ever intend to use it for anything more than the gimmicky bits they add like the lights and air compressors.

Just a word of warning not to expect it to actually work when you need it. At least two other people besides myself just here in these comments that have had units from them that have utterly failed to do the one thing they're supposed to do. There's probably a good reason they're clearing them out, but frankly they should be tossing them in a dumpster rather than trying to shill them off of people.

I have jump started at least twice with it keep in mind its not always the jump starters fault batteries dont last forever and one time i couldnt jump start and realized i was doing it wrong until i read the manual
For those complaining, look at the size of this unit...It only works on small cars/batteries obviously, or vehicles with slightly bad batteries (under 12v but over 11v). Trust me, I have tried it on multiple vehicles.
