The lat pull down works. But the wheels on the attachment isn't that smooth, so pulling 90 feels like pulling 110. It still works though. Just could use better wheels
That's why the title reads "Optional Lat Pull-down attachment for squat rack".
I bought this last week from Walmart, delivered next day by Fedex. I don't have Walmart+ or anything. Packaging came ripped up but no issues with what was inside. Part of the silver bar was slightly rusted, but doesn't compromise it. I bought the rack directly from BalanceFrom and is supposed to deliver this Thursday, so I haven't been able to assemble it or try it. Dying to use it. Just throwing in my two cents in case it helps somebody.

When did you place the order from balancefrom? I also placed one week ago but no update since then

Ordered the same way you did my package came fine just waiting for balancefrom to deliver the cage. Killer deal right

Ordered Thurs 1/19. On their shipping policy it does say 3 business days to ship, and up to 10 business days to receive. I got notification it shipped on Wednesday 1/25, but UPS only received the label. Then Friday 1/27 they received it in WA and I have expected delivery this Thursday the 2nd. Also tracing shows through Amazon, so I'm assuming they use FBA service. Hopefully you get notification from them soon!

I have the V2 of this. Mostly the same, although they swapped out the wheels for plastic shims and they added a leg holder bar to hold you down while doing heavy lat pulldowns. Overall it works as you'd expect a cheap plate-loaded lat pulldown to work. The shaft that the plate loaded mechanism comes in two parts, so mine took a while for the shims to wear down so that it moved smoothly.
Generally, I'd say it's an excellent option for people building out budget racks. The lat pulldown and low row give you quite a few more options that you can only get from cable machines. It's not the safest, but I attach a cable and strap to the top pulley so I can loop my foot in and do weight-assisted pullups. If you needed to add weight, you could clip to the bottom pulley and add weight instead.
For a price comparison, the equivalent on a Titan rack costs anywhere from $289 - $871, depending on your rack. Obviously gonna get a higher quality, but for most of us, the budget rack is good enough.

I agree. I have this and the cable crossovers.
It's good enough but don't expect high quality. Always make sure you have equal weights on each side.
