kinda like door locks are not designed to be secure either, because most doors are crappy quality and can just be kicked in... the doors that are nicely made/etc, likely need to have multi point locks to be secure.
but, ya, he is def entertaining... just I don't see many people / robbers get in your house by actual lock picking... this is not movies.
oh, and re this.. why pick it, when you can pick it up and carry it with you... so, 'security' is not exactly there.
