Personally, I went with this deal because I did have the 7900 xtx (reference card) and it was a big disappointment. Unfortunately, my card had the 110c heating issue so I had to return it. If you are saying spend $200 to $300 more for the xt and xtx, it's not that good of a deal especially the xt. That's probably why they are slow at price dropping the 6000 series to make it look like the xt and xtx a better value. And everyone knows $900 xt is a bad deal so why would you? If you want the xtx, you have to spend more than $1000 to avoid the defective reference cards (AIB reference cards are also affected).

There was only one xtx available for me at Microcenter. It was the sapphire nitro+ 7900xtx. Most expensive version of the card. Worth every penny. Only 70c at the hot spot while playing cyberpunk in 4k.

Congrats as the xtx are a hard find right now. If you don't care about cost per frame, then you are sitting on top next to the 4090 but I still think 6950 is a better value but to each of their own.

Since I use MS FS 2020 most of the time graphics are important.

If you're dropping that kind of money you should definitely go XTX over XT. But this 6950XT will run flight simulator beautifully.
It's a fantastic card but yes just go XTX at this price point
Comes out to 689.99 after promo code for those interested

Non-RT this thing is hitting very similar FPS as the 3090 esp in higher res gaming

The 6900xt was AMD's answer to the 3090. The 6950xt was their answer to the 3090ti.
