Really what's the reason ?

I don't think they ever gave the reason they are removing Gamestream. I'm sure the answer is to push their GeForce NOW streaming service for $$$$.
Apple TV is better in every way.
Bought an Apple TV and have been much, much happier with the performance. I realize the Shield Pro is more useful for gaming, but I quickly realized that that wasn't my use case.

IMHO; (I am not hating on the shield, just offering my own input on my experiences, YMMV)
Until the software issues are fixed and you can update without worrying about your device working just like it was before the update, I for one can't justify the additional "premium" you have to pay for this device.
ATV, FTV, Roku all accept their updates and keep on running. This is great for the casual, non power user.
For Nvidia to keep asking a premium price for their product, they need to either do more beta testing on their updates and/or update less frequently.
Almost reminds me of the constant patching of windows the way Nvidia releases "Hotfixes"
Come on Nvidia, get your ducks in a row, you are turning a great product into a joke.
