That would explain why I never liked water based then, I dont work with white/light projects apparently.
Most of my use case is with sawn wood slabs, primarily ponderosa, yellow fir, doug fir, etc, where the yellowing was never really noticed (or even added to the natural color).

This. Learned that the hard way. Nice rocking chair I painted white. Used oil based. It's yellow-white now. 🤨
