Correct. You will roll an ankle. I have a pair of these - they're excellent lifestyle shoes, or post-workout shoes for comfort (the kind you keep in your bag for after hooping), but not a serious running shoe. One thing worth noting, the outsole wears out very fast on these. If you ran in them, they'd be toast inside of 6 months.

as others have said. these are not actually good for running. i made them work by getting some thick insoles, but even then, they were still loose.

I personally love these! Put around 550 miles on them and had zero issues. Very comfortable. Trained for my first half marathon with them, back in 2019, just ordered another pair. Back then I didn't alternate shoes, but now I rotate between at least two. Not a fan of the colors on this deal, but giving the red shoes a try!

Good for straight road running, I got a half size smaller and have no issues with them falling off or anything (no laces and what not).

Its a quality shoe, but like anything it has to be right for your purposes and sized correctly!

If you have narrower feet, get the right size, and wear them in an appropriate activity (say distance running) then they are great. I'd recommend trying them on if you're unfamiliar with the style, or at least be prepared to return them if they aren't to your taste.

Like I commented elsewhere, I put over 550 miles on mine. Only ran in this shoe while training for my first half.

Running in just socks is not a recommended alternative!
