Guitar Center has a variety of acoustics on sale.. there's a ton of reviews on these. You can honestly get something decent to start on for even cheaper than your $200 budget.
Drop $70 and see if you like playing... Then move up to something better if you're digging it.

There's some starter packs on sale as well, but to be honest you can get any of the filler items they throw in for super cheap on Amazon. So don't feel pressured to buy a full kit they put together.
Grab that $70 guitar... it's a good value to start up playing on.. my two cents.

Being 54 now and for decades I've always wanted to desperately learn to play something other than a baritone (long story) …. My goal it to go to my son's house one day, grab his guitar, and just puke out a rift that would shock him to his shorts..
C'mon alllll you dads! Ya know you'd absolutely love to see the reaction and appreciation!! If I can figure this out, I'll even video it and share it with the community!
