I recently did a test on each of our thermos bottles from several brands, including all our Hydro flasks. I filled them all with the exact same temp cold water. I sealed them all and left them on the counter for most of a day. At the end I checked the temps with a thermapen and they were basically all the same temp as each other. There were slight differences in the different brands depending on how well insulated the top was, or even the size of the top and there were some differences maybe due to the overall size of each.
The only thing that makes a thermos type bottle stop working is getting a small hole in the bottle which lets atmospheric air into the vacuum chamber. You can tell when this happens because the outside of the bottle will feel warm or cold, like the liquid you put inside. I have never had a hydro flask brand bottle fail. So far the only ones to fail have been Thermos or Camel Bak, but only after years of abuse.

glad that you "LOL"ed ... interesting sense of humor
And by other bottles I mean non double vacuumed ones. Last few years I've picked up whatever was cheapest and they have all worked.
