I wanted to love these so much but they were the most uncomfortable headphones I ever had. The band is really thin compared to the older models with less padding, so if the top of your head is more rounded than flat chances are these will cause you discomfort due to putting more pressure in a single spot. I'll stick with my XM3s until the next model i guess...

I ended up ordering the Bose set (to compare against Soundcore Q35) instead of this deal cause I read bad things about XM5's headband comfort.

FWIW, I bought these last May from the CGX and wear them on a daily basis for hours at a time. No complaints about comfort.

They are great phones at a very good price.

Oh dang, Yeah I wouldn't know about the XM5 with that one.. I think I have had the XM3 & MX4, and a bose qc45.. Two have walked away at two different jobs... Or my qc45's are hiding somewhere.
