As a heads up, Spyder quality has taken a nose-dive over the past few years. They've transitioned to a discount brand model, so expect the quality to roughly match the heavily discounted price.

I do not have any older Spyder gear, but I have a few hoodies/quarter zip/full zip light jackets from them, and they've all held up pretty well to hiking, working, etc...for a year or so.
They have all also made for pretty good layering when hiking in colder weather.

So agree, the brand and quality isn't what it use to be. My puffer jacket I got a year back the feathers were flying everywhere from day ☝️.
I bought my son a could have hoodies and a pair of pants a few months ago. Within a couple of watches the logo peeled off of the pants and one of the hoodies. The metal end on the hood string fell off of the other.
It seems like Spyder has different levels of quality on items. The Spyder stuff on their website and found at ski shops seems to still be pretty high quality from what I have seen. Spyder is also selling stuff (that isn't on the spyder website) through cheaper outlets like Costco and other discount retailers, and that stuff isn't quite at nice. I have a few of the cheaper items, and I'm still happy with the quality for the cheaper price, but the materials aren't always high end or the fit can be a little off. I wouldn't buy the cheaper Spyder stuff without being able to try on first or return.

1/4 zip outbound On sale at Al's for $29.99 I've had good experience with als but never bought Spyder clothing.
Seemed like a good sale price but with limited sizing and inventory I decided not to make its own post
