I have been tracking a 65" LG OLED C2 for some time. Not sure if this is a decent price to buy now considering Super Bowl is just around the corner and C3 models are going to come out soon. Thoughts?
Model # OLED65C2AUA

FYI, 55" is showing @ $975

Wow got excited for a second until I realized this was the super secret employee pricing that not many people/companies qualify for. Great price, hopefully there are some similar deals elsewhere coming.
AUA are the Costco models. They have WIFi 6 and the NFC enabled Magic Remote.

One more thing , between B2 and C2, one major difference I see nobody is talking about, which swayed me over to C2 is the weight

C2 is almost half the weight of B2, I can feel confident I can mount this one myself even without a stud, since I don't have much choice where to mount it in my sons bedroom. I am saving almost $100+ dollar in handy services.

Hope it helps anyone in the same boat.

FYI, on the same site, OLED65C2PUA model is showing @ 1530 and this model OLED65C2AUA is showing @ 1275.

I know earlier this question came up on differences between PUA models and AUA models, and the responses i saw was that this more of a branding difference. Is there really not much difference between these 2? the price difference between them makes me think otherwise.

Someone posted costco model, which isnt true, however the wifi 6 and magic remote difference are true, the biggest addition is the support of wireless speakers, such as the bose and harmon, which can directly link to the TV without addtional software or hardware (check the harmon citation models, as they support this).

The LG members who live in FL or GA must not know what to do with themselves lately.

Half? It's a 10-12 lbs difference. B2 to G2 is closer to half.

I'm in the process of returning my S95B and getting an LG C2. The Samsung has lots of problems, horrible color calibration out of the box, no DV, broken gaming mode, crappy software an anoying interface, and started seeing some quality control problems that are likely due to a first gen product. So not convinced it's going to be reliable long-term.

Compared to my LG CX it wasn't a clear winner. In some scenes my LG looked better and in some Samsung did. I think I'll wait for QD OLED to mature a few more years and then probably go with a Sony.
I think I am about to also be in the proccess of returning my S95B. On their website for that tv they literally have wall mounts on the bottom of the page, wall mounts that *DO NOT* fit that tv. Wall mounts that the "Sales Expert" says are correct.... and they are not. I have a tv I cannot mount, and Samsung so far is refusing to do a damn thing about it other than screw me around. I am about to tell them come get this POS from my house and buy this LG C2.

It wont be 70% brighter than the C2, should really wait until retail units are being reviewed to get a real idea of performance. Often times, when both displays are properly calibrated, the difference isn't nearly as much as advertised.

G3 and C2 aren't in the same price range at all. You may be able to get two C2s by the time the G3 is available.
