I got the lidded one for use out in the garage, and when I work with the door open, it keeps pesky gnats / bugs out of my beer.

It's a farking beer stein. IPAs taste good at warmer temps anyway. Lagers need to be ice cold or the piss taste gets stronger.

What are you his boyfriend?
I appreciate the wide base. Makes it a little harder to accidentally knock over.

Just wanted to provide some wisdom here. Your statement about the brew time is true because lagers are fermented at lower temps, which makes for slower fermentation and then they are dropped even lower in the actual lager process in which they need more time to rest in low temps. In the brew process of an ale, it doesn't not need to go through any cold ferment process and the beer can ferment and be ready for keg and can sooner. So even though this may take longer, the active labor of the brew day is the same, and lagers just have to sit longer. But, this difference would not cause the brewer to make more money off of IPAs. Any decently managed brew schedule would have beers being ready to keg or can every day, so the output is the same. In fact, IPAs profit margin is much lower than a lager, given the greater quantity of hops for the brew, especially all these NEIPAs that are trendy. These cloudy NEIPAs are very expensive beers to make relative to a lager, Pilsner, or even a simple pale ale.
Or Ballast Point Sculpin...
Really?! Which IPA is that?
Imagine still trying to gatekeep beer
Looks to be the same price I paid - around $26. Be aware that it WILL ship in a bubble mailer (unless you request a gift box, but mine thankfully arrived unscathed.
Fits 24oz completely (two 12oz bottles leave about 1/8" to spare). Enjoy!
