The thing is not ment to be Fort Knox , I bet you it would deter most beach or pool area thieves, who first of all who wouldn't be as knowledgeable as the person making that video and secondly would be looking for a quick lift

Oof, yeah this one is bad though, no tools required at all to open, someone can just casually open it up like they were the owner putting in a code normally, I would run away from buying this one
All locks can be picked, broken, or cut. Nothing is perfectly safe. What they do provide is a deterrent. Is a thief walking past the pool chairs more likely to stop and try to pick this lock without being caught, or will he go on to snatch the unsecured cell phone a few chairs away?

Or they can just pick it up and open it later, you just happen to put everything in a nice place for the thief to get it...
You are supposed to secure it to something with the cable. Look at the third and fifth photos.
This is a theft deterrent - it is not theft proof, nothing is.
It's says water resistant but nothing about the other extremes
