Using a card payment processor at 2.9% you'd be able to cycle $4,000 for $116 in fees - add the $69 card fee and you're at $185 for Companion Pass and 34,000 points, which is a solid deal for 11 months of pass.

I got the Priority card a little over a year ago. I was able to add the card to ApplePay before getting the physical card.

Once the card appears in your accounts in the Chase app

go to the card,
click Show More under Account Services
Click Digital Wallets
I was able to add the card to ApplePay. GPay and Paypal are also offered but I did not try to add those.

Hope this helps someone. It's possible they changed this since I did do it over a year ago.

Have done the CP many times. This looks like an easy way to get it. Too bad I have no desire to fly anymore.

It was about a month ago so I don't remember the exact error message. You get an email that says "Name, Your new Chase credit card is approved" and then you get the option to add it to your digital wallet from there.

What? We got it (companion pass and 30,000 credited points) on March 11th. which is less than two weeks after we received card, weeks before our closing date, and about a week after we met the $4000 spending requirement.

Should I see a mention of the companion pass to be unlocked after spending the $4k somewhere in my Chase account? I only see I will receive the 30,000 points after spending $4k.

Means nothing when you received the card. No one gets points before closing date. Check your statement

You can try calling Chase to ask, but I've inquired about this two different times and was told it isn't possible. Most online forums also state it isn't possible.

How soon are people getting the companion pass after meeting the 4k spending. Did it occur after the statement closed or before the statement closed?
