I went in to best buy outlet to buy this TV and was told all open box TV's are on sale 20% in addition to their markdowns and the marketing material hasn't gone out yet. This is on receipt as deal 1.
So all open box TVs are 20% off in store or just in the outlet stores not sure. (Update confirmed only outlet stores offering extra 20% off!)

nice I got my 42" C2 OLED for $499.99 from Best Buy this week haha. If you have totaltech/geek squad warranty it covers burn in btw. They marked the TV in fair condition because they said they had too many open box tv's and needed the floor space supposedly. It was in new/flawless condition.
Is the 20 applied for online orders set as pickup, or do you have to go in to the store and roll the dice on what's available?
I have an outlet near me and I tried going through the checkout process on an open box tv. I definitely didn't see the 20% discount. It's either not active online yet or only in person. I'm going to call the store and see if they can hold it for me that way.
I am betting you have to go to the store. However they might discount it when you get there to pick up
Yeah, I was hoping to reserve one online, go pickup, and see if they'll apply the 20 there. Maybe I can just do that, and if not buy something else while there. There are 3-4 models I'm interested in, and several look to be available.
Is this just TVs or projectors/home audio too (if anyone knows)?
On a second thought, buying this particular open-box/used OLED TV is a huge risk because it is very easy to be mishandled. If you are looking up online, the screen is very thin and very fragile. Bent frame/screen seems to be a major issue about this TV. I've already ordered a brand new one from Samsung, but I thought I'd save some change for this.
$880 for a used 55" S95B is not a very good price. It was only $1000 brand new from EPP. A used set with hundreds of hours on it should be more than 10% off the price of a new one.

It might be $1000 new via EPP now, but that's only because they are clearing last year's stock of TVs. It's only hit that price recently, and after multiple sales/price cuts.

That's also the same reason this used one is one sale though. (FYI, it was also $1100 back during Black Friday last year too. I picked up my 65" S95B for $1399 with a free Xbox Controller during that sale)
