Probably a coating is carcinogenic and on the list. In a few comments someone will say California is stupid and so forth but the general idea is to reduce carcinogens contaminating the environment.

I think what many find comical is what California deems worthy and not worthy. More and more posts here have Californians reporting the deal can't be shipped to them.

You are correct about the labeling, we make products and have to deal with it often. The bureaucratic mess and liabilities make it easier just to label it to avoid potential issues, fines and legal actions. The idea of implementing bans and the actuality of how it is imposed is vastly different. Try it sometime, I doubt it will be a positive experience long term.

I've had downloadable software that would cause an aneurysm so definitely needs some labels there!
