Not Costco specific but appliance quality is horrible right now. Do not buy an appliance until they get their stuff straight. I had to buy 2 refrigerators in the past 8 months (large family). First was replaced twice. Second had to have a door replacement on delivery and it currently does not make ice or dispense water. A $3k fridge too!

Between parts shortages, parts prices, and new inexperienced workers, its a mess right now. Avoid or try to spend less $$ knowing it won't last long.

Of course I just had a fridge delivered on Monday and this makes it $600 cheaper. Submitted a price adjustment request, but if they don't honor it I'll definitely return and rebuy.

Perfect timing. I have a new washer and dryer coming next week. Canceled and added a small refrigerator for the garage, which we've been wanting anyway. Thanks OP! Weird that this is buried in the search results and isn't getting much attention.

Were these Samsung refrigerators by chance? Samsung refrigerators have been notoriously bad quality for as long as I can remember. Even Samsung employees who service the refrigerators have said that they wouldn't recommend the refrigerators to anyone

All depends if you got the entry-level models or not. Nearly all issues are due to external water dispensers and ice makers. My bespoke flex has worked flawless for a while and is far and away the best fridge I've ever owned
