Decent deal on a decent game. It's a heavier (more complicated) game for higher player counts (BGG says 5 is "best"), so evaluate accordingly.

Saw this the other day since I've been tracking it - definitely seems like a fun one but wonder if those with Betrayal will have too much of an overlap.

I own The Thing (sale) and Dead of Winter, and have been looking for a deal on Nemesis for a while now, so I'm personally going to pass based on that (based on me having 2 betrayal mechanic games, and wanting another more than this one). It's not so much of a deal that I can't say no. However, I posted it in case someone had it on their personal wishlist.

Not really like Betrayal at all. The core gameplay is taking actions to decrease AI threats from overtaking the ship while all the crewmates vote on resolutions by using up influence cards to vote. The twist is, not everyone is trying to help the crewmates succeed. And it usually doesn't become obvious who the imposter is until late into the game, but by then they've done serious damage to the crewmates' chances of surviving.

This is a retheme of the Battlestar Galactica game that's been out of print for over a decade but is still in the top 100 games on BGG. I haven't played Unfathomable but have played Battlestar Galactica and it really is a great game. From what I can gather, it is almost identical in gameplay to the original game but with a new Lovecraft skin.

Yeah, it's more like "hidden roles" I suppose. Good to know.

Yeah, I have this and BSG and the gameplay is identical. I'm appreciating the irony that the 1920's is the 'new' skin. I miss BSG, and one of my bigger regrets is never picking up all the expansions when I had the chance. Its pretty fun regardless.

I have played the BSG game a dozen times with groups ranging from teens to college professors and the humans have never survived. I love that game.
