I must agree C535 seem to be better built but doesn't have Wi-Fi.
Performance wise, I'm guess it's negligible since they are both in the medium size class. Ease of menus, C535 wins.
Wi-Fi is a game changer personally for me.

Hence, if I were to buy one more, it's C545 for me
I own one C535 and three C545.
I like both better than my $350 Coway. Which I wish I didn't have bought

I've had winix c535 and c555 for years. Just a note that they eventually have ticking sounds requiring opening up and tightening and whiring high pitch sounds from motor.

It is having on/off button and also you can use their app to switch on/off. Also you can schedule when to start/stop. No need of smart plug.

C535 is better if you can find/wait for a deal on it. Larger filter and better build quality.

No, if the power is cut you have to manually turn it back on.

These things seem to be very sensitive to power outages and fluctuations. I've had two cease to function correctly after very minor instances of this. Costco is great with the returns. But I do wonder how many is too many.

And a schedule can be programmed for each which makes the filters last a good amount of time, with them running only when needed.

Any idea if the replacement filters will be on sale? It's pretty dumb that the price of a new unit with two years of filters is nearly the same as two replacement filters by themselves…

It's insane. I'm surprised they include the "2 years" worth of filters. It's like the printer and cartridge sales model but the employees in the back aren't sitting there printing 500 pages before selling them to make sure the customer is back fairly quick for a cartridge.
