Data privacy is a joke. Every bit of your data is already owned and sold on a daily basis. Not to mention the dark markets where its sold to the highest bidder. I get it. I am in IT Security and I try to protect my data but its a losing battle. For instance. 16 million users just had their data stolen from Ifraud. Oh but I never used Ifraud so I am good. Well think again. Ifraud is a service sold to sellers that does basic background checks on potential buyers and warns if they are high risk for fradulent returns, stolen payment methods, or other headahces for online sellers. When you sign up for any online purchase you click the "accept" button for a whole slew of terms that no one reads or understands. So if you have ever purchased anything online you are probably one of the 16 million, like me, that now have SSN, address, DOB, email address, password, and everything else you can think of floating around in the dark web. have I been powned dot com is a great site for tracking where you data has been stolen.

I mean no disrespect to the posts regarding data being sent to China. That isn't my intention in case it comes off that way. Just sharing my experiences respsectfully. 30 years from now we will look back at how data wasn't protected and be amazed that there were no real teeth to the data privacy laws of the day.

Yeah I basically hate these devices that make you log into a third party site to track your results. The phone itself is a computer and my health is my business not theirs.

Fair number of bad reviews. Also, the cuff sounds pretty small.

Yeah honestly, only morons would want to use one of these instead of a regular LCD display. You telling me I need to plonk down my phone, connect my Bluetooth, and then open their app so they can send all my health and phone data to some random Chinese company?

You can get a regular "dumb" blood pressure monitor that will take and display your measurements in less than the time it would take you to do the phone dance. Yeah you'll have to write down the results yourself, but that's a small price to pay for privacy.

What's the point of this being wireless when you have the tube going to a base then have to use your phone? Seems like an extra unnecessary step.

Aaand China's gunna know my blood pressure! (Lol)

Great price, will be interesting to compare results and see how accurate it seems.

I really don't care if some Chinese database has my weight and blood pressure ( have Ihealth scale too )
Easy logging and I have years of data saved and available as well as integration into Apple health app for ease of use.

make sure you check it's calibration at your Dr. office. no use in it being wireless if the actual device doesn't read correctly.

I find it hilarious that a bunch of people who use a website to track where they shop so they can sell your data are concerned about some guy in China knowing your BP.
