The trick is to use Wood Glue for all the dowels. Really helps hold it together.
Don't ever plan on moving it though, they crumble.
The quality is what you expect from furniture this cheap. But it looks decent and is pretty sturdy.
Make sure to check the dimensions, though. This desk is smaller than standard and is pretty constricting even to kids.
