I bought one the last time it was listed on here, on sale. Look, it is ok. It isn't fantastic. I wouldn't want to pay more than $10 for one ever again either. I bought one because I was repainting my addition and bathroom, and was going to remove all the switchplates and outlet covers, plus curtain rods, drapes, towel holders etc. I thought I would buy this and not have to bring in my cordless and bits or get my screwdrivers out of my toolbox in the garage. I was wrong.

Plus side - it isn't a stubby that won't let you get your hand away from the object your screwing. The bit storage isn't bad, and you do get a selection from phillips, straight, square, and torx.

Negative - the bit holder is kinda wide, so don't think you will be screwing anything in that is deep set. You will have to go buy or get your other longer bits. It doesn't angle at all. Some of the other device have buttons/knobs you depress and the handle will tilt at about a 30-45 degree. The 2x ratchet action didn't seem 2x to me, seemed standard. On long screws I set this down and got my cordless drill out. This took too long.
When you use it, hold the black metal ring still and twist the blue handle back and forth...as little as a quarter turn. The driver applies motion to the bit in a single direction, regardless of the direction you turn the blue handle. That's what makes it 2x. It is not designed to function like a typical ratcheting socket wrench.
Have one of these, lost the cap, now it's a pain to not lose the bits every time I use it. Recently go the newer one for $14 or so. It's worth the extra $4. Smoother, easier to use rachet and much better but lengths.

thank you for the info. if I gotta use two hands I rather hold my cordless. No disrespect towards you, just a personal preference. I perfer handheld stuff when working with easily damaged/scuffed/scraped screws like the oil rubbed bronze screws for the fixtures my wife had me install. That coating comes off super easy, that and the "painted" bonze screws. They flake when you look at them.

I do love people that give bad reviews because they lose part of something then say how bad it is, right up there with 1 star reviews on amazon because box got damaged in shipping. Cool story Karen.

Once I had to build up ~100 medical carts of various types. This worked pretty good for that task. But after a couple days I ended up bringing in my own electric screwdriver to save my wrists. In the right place this can be a handy timesaver. Most of the time it's just a clunky screwdriver, though.

If the cap comes off too easily, that's an important design flaw - hardly "being a Karen."
