Not the lowest price ever, but this model has been very difficult to find when it's been put on sale. It's normally $1499.99.

are you talking about the x90k? the U*H is better from what i can see on the reviews and even better than TCL 6 series
You have to turn down the backlight when watching SDR content…to like 60-65. You can leave the backlight at 100 for HDR picture modes but not SDR modes.

Under your picture settings, change the mode from "All Sources" to "Current Source" & then change the backlight setting for SDR picture modes like Sports, etc.
Why would anyone get a C3? The only real improvement is the G3

Id grab this if 100 lower, but OP is correct, this tv in this size has been almost impossible to find. I was debating on buying it for 1299 from a dealer that is not in my area a few months ago, but shipping cost would have been almost 160 (possibly more)

As a Hisense owner who went for the 120hz I highly advise against buying this for any gaming system but it is nice and bright.

Dang. I've been waiting for the 55" to go on sale. Still $699 everywhere.

Viewing angles would be the deciding factor for me. My next living room TV will be a 77" OLED because we have a wide sectional and often view at various angles.

Viewing angles on the Hisense TVs are atrocious. I would recommend the 77" LG C3 when it becomes available at the end of this month. And if the price is too high, you can't go wrong with last year's model, the C2 (which should go down in price when the C3 comes out). Smilie
