I checked again and my blue cash preferred card just says "Use 3 times, get $30." Reading through the offer terms doesn't state any minimum spending amount either.
I just pay $115 and the credit balance just roll over to next month bill.

Yeah I saw that after posting. I went ahead and paid ahead and already got the Amex email saying I redeemed the offer.
