There have been deals for the same price for the newer model with the Find My feature.

If I am not mistaken, it was part of the "Verizon Up" rewards where they had free gift cards(credits) and discounts towards accessories from Verizon site.

For $26 I'll try it out even though it's the older gen. If I like it I'll snag a newer gen one later in a different color when it goes on sale again.

I bought an open box MagSafe midnight with find me functionality from Best Buy for $28.99. It was in pristine condition when it arrived. Might be worth considering!

I bought the Arizona one from a recent deal and I'm happy with it even with no "find my" feature. I don't mind paying the Apple premium price (at 50% off of course) to get a quality product. The magnet strength feels well-tuned.

I've moved on from my leather 12 mini Apple case due to wear and tear and onto an Otterbox Symmetry case, but the Apple leather case was not in bad shape after a year of use.

If you want to use AliExpress cases who am I to stop you? From personal experience and preference however, I prefer sticking with brands and products that I know are higher quality and last longer.

Just from my experience, I have bought the AliExpress versions and the magnet is definitely not as strong as the official Apple ones.
