Fist of all, the MSRPs are a joke on these. Second, it's only 2D which kind of sucks. Maybe it's worth $1k, debatable but I don't think so

So 3D goes up/down and side to side (2 dimensions). 3D goes deep. It supposedly scans your body to determine how far "deep" to go at different points. It's actually a real thing. Now there's 4D. I 5hink that means it determines the pressure to apply inward at different points if 5hat makes any sense. These chairs are awesome in my opinion if you can get one that doesn't break. I'm stuck with a broken one and can't move it until my son comes home from college. They're huge and heavy. I got 7-8years out of 8t so I'm happy. It's just a PIA to deal with later when they die. And good luck trying to find someone who can fix it.

Sorry, my first sentence should have said 2D.

1k for 2D doesn't sound tempting... I have done some research for recent purchase and 3D is about 400 more and worth it imo. Though both scans your body to find shoulder position, the 2D sounds like the roller only goes up and down at a fixed depth. It may be enough for someone but I didn't want to end up with roller too deep or shallow so I can't imagine not having it. Depending on how tight my muscles are I set it to deep or shallow so it doesn't feel like trapped in torture. Yes, imagine both your arms and shoulders squeezed by the airbags to trap you while the roller digs really deep into your shoulder blades. You'll be screaming uncle.

No because they are $499 to $699 on Wayfair

Or course they are $4000 at Costco but Costco is expensive. Who cares.

Hi Wife,

If you are reading this thread, please buy me one of these. Not necessarily this chair (I haven't researched it much), but I can really use a good massage chair as I am getting older and feeling it. I'm okay if you sell off your car or one of the more annoying kids to cover it.

Warmest regards,
Gabe
