Yes, I have had a set like this for 2 years at a rental property on a side patio that is infrequently used. The set is functional in a strict sense of that you can you can sit on it and it is holding up ok 2 years later. However, I would not want to use it with any regularity because: 1. As mentioned, it is small. As an average sized adult male, it feels somewhat cramped or like it might make a better children's set. 2. It looks inexpensive. We have nicer patio furniture we enjoy using and seeing outside waiting for us, and this set is not at all like that. 3. The cushions are thin and not all that comfortable. 4. The tables are low and tiny, like someone took a little end table, cut the legs in half and called it a coffee table.
All that to say, I'd suggest saving a bit more to get a set you can enjoy, or finding a used local set of higher quality. Patio furniture isn't cheap, but can be a great value from the hours you and loved ones enjoy it. This set will look prettier than an old rusty metal set, and can hold several average size adults in less than comfortable state, but that's about it.
Tanga was a daily deals type site popular 7 or 8 years ago. Not a scam site, but I'm surprised they're even still around. They stopped paying vendors a long time ago, so I would be surprised if this order even ships. Definitely use a credit card with some level or buyer protection. If you do but an extended warranty, make sure it's through a reputable 3rd party that will honor it if the site goes bye bye.

What is the brand of the "nicer" ones you have? I am looking to get some and looking for something that is not super expensive
I bought this brand on sale from Walmart. It's two of the sets they have been putting out for 189. Hubby put it together and it was a PITA but the quality is pretty decent and held up for 300 pounds sitting on it. Only put together a few weeks ago, but for the price I figured it was worth the gamble if it only lasted one or two seasons—though I plan to stash it in the shed over winter.
Honestly this brand and style is fine. I have their large L shaped couch, a smokers corner, and a hammock through them. Survived a snowy winter although I got covers half way through. Definitely worth the price point
