Pretty good set for the price but I honestly think this model should have had more pieces, like close to 1K. The sharp angles on this set does the real Supra no favors at all.

I agree that a larger set would look awesome. I think this set is still good for someone who wants a quick build, or just a fun car to play with, and at this price, it's hard to say no.

I know the Speed Champions line is not supposed to look super realistic... but this one is a miss imo. Just picked up the R34 Skyline even though it doesn't look fantastic, but I can't get myself to buy this one lol

You could say that for the entire speed champions series really. I enjoy the large variety of cars and that would be impossible if you made them all 1,000 piece sets. Plus they'd cost 5x as much. Both the larger cars and speed champions have their place. There's no reason they can't make another Supra. They retired the Technic Land Rover Defender in Dec 2022 and just announced a Classic Defender set the other day.
