I recently bought a QNED80, 86" that was on sale. I'm very happy with it.
I also have a Samsung Q80B 65". The Samsung is slightly better in some ways, but an 85" in that tv would have been $300 more and still no mini-led.
There are some things I like better about the QNED than the Samsung Q80.
The QNED90 would have been $1,000+ more in my 86"! I absolutely didn't see $1,000 difference!
I compared many TVs to the QNED80, before buying.
I've saw many people complain about the LG magic remote. I think it is great.
You can find someone to complain about anything.
I will be trading the q80B for a q90b that I found for $200 more. I guess I'll see what kind of difference mini led makes.
Do you think the QNED90 is worth roughly $1,100 more than the QNED80?

I walked in the store to look around. They had a lot of tvs on display.
They priced the QNED80 86" at $1650.
It looks to be $1,796 online. Maybe they sell cheaper in store?

Still looks to be a solid deal tho.

I was in the market for an 85". I got my 86 qned80 for $1,650. It was the TV I liked best in that price range.
I love the LG remote and interface. I like it better than the newest Samsung interface. This is a great part of the LG. Apps are excellent!
The viewing angle is great. My livingroom is wide with a 12' ceilings. The TV looks great from anywhere in the room. We have 2 6'x6' windows, 8' tall French doors and other windows. Even with the open space and lots of natural lighting, the QNED80 is bright enough.
The blacks and colors look great to my eye. The sound is exceptional. I first thought it was mediocre until I found the AI setting for sound.
I'd say go to Best Buy and compare it. YouTube has lots of 4k demo videos. The store I went to allowed me to play the same video on multiple TVs.
I saw the QNED90 and it had an extremely nice picture. Its noticeably better than the QNED 80, but for me the difference wasn't worth $1,000+ more.
For my room, brightness was a big factor b/c of the natural light. This TV appears to be brighter than a Samsung 65" QLED80 that we have.
I'm not sure how the deal on the 75" QNED80 compares to other 75" deals. For an 86", the QNED80 is spot on in price/performance, for me.
