I posted this from Walmart a few months ago around same price and it got removed because not enough reviews. Good knife, but a little slippery.

I picked this up in 2018 for $21. It's a great EDC for dress pants

Have this knife and actually carried it today. It's a good knife especially at this price.

Blade is not the heaviest construction/weight but quality is good.

I would definitely recommend if you want a light weight easy to carry knife you don't have to hang yourself if you lose it.

Prefer D2. Otherwise a great little knife.

Good knife and not a bad deal, but it seems to go on sale at roughly this price every 2-3 months at Amazon or Walmart.

Yep. Been $23-4 at Walmart for years.
Unfortunately it's not currently.

Tell her more. What do you prefer about the D2
If you're actually asking, D2 steel is harder than Aus-8 but it's also more prone to rust.

I have the slightly larger RAT 1 in both AUS-8 and D2. It's a bit of a challenge to keep the D2 stain free, but it does stay a little sharper for longer periods of time. I use both knives interchangeably, don't really have a preference for one over the other.

This might be too short for a poop knife. I recommend their 7-inch butcher knife. It's only $15

This is the poop knife you want. Just make sure to dry it after since it's carbon steel.

Just got one the other day through the similar Walmart deal. They cancelled the RAT 1 in that order so I can't compare. I was hoping to be more impressed, but it is still a very good budget knife.

Clip can move to all four corners which is a plus when the company doesn't install it tip-up, right side already.

The size is a bit small for my average hand, making the thumb-stud opening geometry a little awkward, but if I only carried this knife, it would become second nature very easilly. This issue is only because I carry knives that are maybe 1/2" longer in grip length and with a little deeper grip, though the thickness is fine with this one.

Edge out of the box is better than it seems. One of those paper tests won't impress you, but stripping outdoor CAT5 cable with it the other day was very smooth and easy to control.

Probably not going to be my go-to EDC but in a travel pack of some sort... yeah. It's a very good, small functional blade.
