Not "$200 more" but $263 more". Plus you need a combination of a Amex card and a Chase card just to get that pricing.

If you are going to try to pump up your other thread, at least be honest on the cost difference.
Another $100 price drop from the last FP deal. Pretty decent deal for a big-screen Productivity Laptop.
What about the screen. I think you forgot to include "smaller screen, lower resolution, lower refresh rate, no touch"

Can anyone speak from experience if there is any chance of finding at the warehouse the comparable Lenovo slim 7i which is OOS on costco.com ?

I dont have Costso membership so no idea if local stores inventory is not included when it shows OOS. TY

The screen is 500nits good specs if you don't need a dedicated video card but overall a good deal!
WOW, finally! Arg, I don't want to spend money now but bright screens at a decent price seem to be rare

I purchased the entry level MacBook at Costco. It is fast and I like it but I was wondering if I should go back to windows. I use my laptop for work but really only need a little memory because I only need room for documents that don't take up a lot of memory. However I am thinking that I should exchange this one for more memory or go back to Windows for a lot less money. I switched to MacBook because I feel like there are less problems with them.

Any Mac vs this windows machine advice?

Can anyone give me advice on this laptop vs. a MacBook entry level laptop. I bought the entry MacBook but I was going to exchange it for one that has more memory (512gb vs 256gb). However, it is quite a bit more. I use it for work but I am a travel advisor so there is mostly just forms to save and internet searches. The entry level MacBook is pretty fast and I am happy with it, but I am concerned about the amount of memory in case I want to add pictures and would like this to last a long time. I know I can pay for cloud storage but I would rather not.

So, should I go for this one or keep the MacBook. I really want longevity. I can't work when I have computer issues so I want to avoid that as much as possible which is my main reason for considering a more expensive MacBook.

I read both your posts and since your main issue is longevity I would stick with the Mac. I'm a windows guy but I've heard people say the system architecture is different enough that 8gb ram on the Mac isn't as bad as 8gb on a PC.

Lenovo is also notorious for problems with their machines, hardware, software updates, whatever. Even so, I'm still tempted by this it's a lot of machine for the price. But I would advise you to keep the MacBook per your priorities.

Look into portable hard drives and other storage solutions to avoid the Apple hard drive size tax.

Seems like a good deal still, at $849, now that the original $799 is expired? Opinions?
