Anyone ever walled one of these off to make a shed? =)
Depends on the area. Some places you need a permit for anything bigger than a small shed (80 square feet). Other places you can build as large as like a small 1 car garage (250sf) before you need a permit. My area is 120sf so technically this would need a permit. Personally I probably wouldn't get a permit unless they called me out on it, then i'd get one after the fact.
If you can't find the answer on your own, then don't bother getting this. Finding out your answer is 10x easier than building this

You paid $1,000 more for 2 feet or was it on sale?
I paid more. We designed our outdoor kitchen to fit the 12x16 and already had plumbing, electric, concrete finished over the course of the last 6 months or so. Hopefully it will still go on sale soon enough that I can get a price adjustment.
My neighbor and I have about 10 hours into the assembly so far and we have the posts and beams up and the roof panels framed.
That's a great buy, but we like the look of the pavilion better and for the higher winds we think it will hold up better since it has ability to fight uplift. I wish this was the same price. We are getting it delivered later in the month when installers are here working on projects. So for us made better sense.

Usually, Costco is pretty good, adding free installation.
