These are the best batteries I have ever owned. I have the original ones from 2010 and it still works 13 years later. Best money spent
Wished this deal had more AAA than AA
Thankfully, no!

it's entirely possible at this point. everyone been cost cutting, it'd have been too long of a run w/o ikea having reevaluated rebranding high quality panasonic eneloops at some point in time the past 4 yrs, for something cheaper.
In my area LADDA batteries said "made in Japan". It seems they are the same!

Rechargeable are not recommended for door locks. They do not last as long.

These chargers are pieces of sh*t; I have a bunch. Plan on buying a real charger that gives you proper details on screen, has adjustable speeds and where you can refresh batteries.

What charger do you own that fits that criteria?

The best one I have, better than my Lacrosse. Backlit display, not a bad price:

I also recall that instructions told me NOT to use rechargeables in door locks. Though the reason stated was not that they didn't last, but that when they did run out of power, they did so very rapidly (i.e. voltage will stay near a certain level until nearly depleted, then drop quickly). My Schlage door locks recommended regular alkaline batteries, because they will start to drop in voltage measurably, and this will be reported to you by the system with plenty of time to replace the batteries while the lock is still working. With the rechargeables they may drop quickly and then the lock may not be operational.

Get an advance charger with refresh function will make your eneloops last even longer.
Fast chargers are harder on batteries.
Again, I have Sanyo Eneloop batteries still going strong, I have yet to discard any, and Sanyo hasn't existed for over a decade. I even have a BQ-CC55 I don't use; I'm good and I stand by what I said. The BQ-CC17 is a good charger that's no hassle, generates minimal heat, and gets the job done well. Sure, the new models with a refresh look nice, but they're still fast chargers, I don't recommend fast charges for NiMH. FWIW, I have a fully programmable 8-bay charger, but the BQ-CC17 is super convenient to not mess with cables/adapters/rates/etc.

An advance charger is not necessarily a fast one. Advance chargers let you set the charging speed for each slot. Mine let me pick from 200/500/700/1000/2000 mah speed.

mAH is capacity, mA is speed.
The BQ-CC17 does a peak of 150mA for AAA and 300mA for AA. The BQ-CC17 is labeled "Advanced" because it's not a simple time based charger, but it's also not a "Smart" charger. The other models with more features are designed to be fast chargers and don't offer an explicit slow charge, it's all based on capacity (maximum charge rate is often a multiple of capacity).
