Like or hate them - Vornado 660 Large Fan Black or White is available at Amazon/QVC for $79.89 F/S.

These rarely go below the $90.00 mark.

I have a few that I run May-October each year. These fans run for years. I don't buy any of the "special Vortex action" marketing. For me these fans run quieter than other brands I have tried.

I had one issue and warranty was easy.

    I've had 2 Vornados that died while under warranty; usually 5 years. You email them the fan info, cut the cord and a new one gets mailed to you. No hassles.

    For those who wish to use this fan with a smart plug. Be aware that the fan won't turn on with the last setting you had it on.

    I recommend the bed bath and beyond model. That one has a physical knob, so when you turn on the smart plug the fan turns on at its last setting. It shows oos now, but whenever it comes back u can do the 20% off coupon to bring it down to this price.

    Vornado products are awesome and their aftersale service/support is even more awesome and commendable. We only buy Vornado products when it cones to fans and space heaters. Highly recommended.

    We've had this 660 pretty much on nonstop for like 5 years in our bedroom. Outside of the (yearly?) cleaning, and the occasional power outage - which, because of the buttons, won't come back on automatically like the ones with the manual dial. But otherwise no complaints.

    They're extremely quiet when not on the highest setting and move a ton of air. They're an air circulating fan that creates a light breeze everywhere in the room.
