Hmm. It's about $1,484 for Perks members with GREETINGS10. The EXTRA5 coupon doesn't apply. Tempting. The brighter screen is $30 more. Upgrading to 32GB is $55 more.

Although kind of sucks it doesn't have the 99.9Wh battery like the 7.

Is a 4060 equivalent to a 3070 ti of last gen in terms of gaming performance assuming similar tdp?

The 3070 Ti is definitely better at pure gaming, but is more power hungry. 4060 is relatively close all things considered, but does fall behind in pure performance. I think either you'd be happy with. I'd look at the other specs to make your determination (CPU, amount of ram, size of SSD, and screen) since the 3070 Ti and 4060 aren't leagues apart.

If you select the 'build your own' option, which is the only way I see (correct me if I am wrong) to get the screen upgrade and extra RAM etc., unless I am missing something, you start off with a lower CPU (i5 vs i7) and lower GPU (4050 vs 4060). So, you would then end up paying a higher price to upgrade the 'build your own' version to get back to the same specs listed in this thread.

Yes, you're correct. I suppose I could've been clearer.

I'm gonna wait a month or two to see what prices retailers offer. Considering the recent $1400 BH Photo deal for a Legion 5 Pro, this really isn't bad.

Lenovo needs to hire someone to fix their model numbering. It's insane.

Terrible deal

Downgraded screen
Downgrade gpu
For more money it's less powerful than the $1399 bh deal from a few weeks ago

This is Slickdeals here!
