From what I'm reading (first time shopper for stuff like this), yes they are too short to safely use on racks, these are for other more mobile exercises.
I bought the 7' version, paid $60 for it when I bought the bumper plate set. Can confirm this is a very nice bar. the bearings / bushings spin freely and the knurling feels great. I'm sure barbell snobs can find faults but having lifted in various commercial gyms over the years this feels as good as anything I've used, I've only put 315 on it so far but it's been rock solid for me.
That MSRP of $149 for the 5' bar seems overinflated.

Are these too short for a power rack/squat rack/bench for bench press?

Second pictures shows the grip space which is also the rackable space.

5' bar: 37.2" grip space
6' bar: 42.9" grip space

So measure whatever you're using to hold the bar and if it fits into that grip space of the bar, you're good to go.

Jk I think this is actually a decent budget bar iirc.
