This was my intro to him (space spiders!) and I've since made it through half of the shadows of the apt series (relatively amateurish to start, but his progression through the ten books is noticeable), cage of souls (great standalone work about the end of the world) and I've just started the tiger and the wolf (reminiscent of the horizon video games meet animorphs… sort of). I'm most excited about city of last chances, which may be after this trilogy.
