Why don't they have more deals from other cities besides SF?

Are long layovers still allowed, like 2-3 days?
Years ago I was able to, but lately it doesn't look like an option anymore.
That way, you could visit both especially with the time difference on the return.

Heads up that security is more of a concern for Egypt than other destinations I see on SD. The US State Department travel advisory is fairly general, the Canadian one is more specific: https://travel.gc.ca/destinations/egypt.

If you go as part of an organized tour, it's probably fine. Women traveling alone will likely have an especially unpleasant experience.

Women's safety
Women, particularly foreigners, are frequently subject to unpleasant male attention, sexual harassment and verbal abuse. This often takes the form of staring, inappropriate remarks, catcalls and touching. The risks increase around public holidays, when more men are in the streets.
Do not support these countries with your money.

Per the BBB - Not accredited. No rating by the BBB.

Average of 568 Customer Reviews - 1.06 rating out of 5

2,588 complaints closed in last 3 years

1,382 complaints closed in last 12 months

Yet another Slickdeals affiliate that pays a commission, click-through, etc. Book directly with the airline and save yourself a lot of trouble. No difference in price.

Well looks like a good deal to me. Wish I could go. If you can find a better deal be my guest but I appreciate seeing the deal.

Obviously you didn't do your due diligence. Check the airline site. Same price, no hassles. Book with a third party seller and see what happens if you have a problem. Slickdeals is here to make money from affiliates, not protect you. Fact.

No, they won't. I went to Cairo about 10 years ago and I would never recommend anyone go. My friend and I set up a tour experience to go around the pyramids and there would be lunch provided, etc. We paid for a very nice trip since we traveled halfway across the world. What seemed like a legitimate tour ended up being a scam. We were taken out to the desert and told if we didn't give them our money we would be left there. On top of this horrible experience, the trip was terrible with the oppressive local government stopping you from taking photos around every corner and the generally filthy dirty city under the worst pollution I've ever seen, I would never recommend anyone to go to Egypt. We ended up staying the last few days in our hotel because we were too freaked out and turned off to explore around the city. We couldn't wait to leave.

Egypt and especially Cairo is a nightmare. Customs is awful, if you have a female companion prepare for a stressful trip, EVERYoNe will hassle you at all times to either buy something or come into their shop, the pyramids are cool but it's a tourist trap with stalls everywhere and trash flying around. Honestly one of the most stressful and disappointing places I've ever been.

Quote from artrickwo :
Unfortunately we live in a country that subjects women to potential abuses, diminishes their achievements, treasures away opportunities, disincentivizes the desire to achieve goals, and takes away from a Century of advancements in equal rights for them.. All so we can virtue signal and pretend that the people pretending to be a gender other than they really are is a legitimate concern and worthy of throwing away others rights and achievements.. The women who are honest about their gender, those that actually have a vagina and estrogen. Different sure, but not any better and worse in some ways than getting "unpleasant male attention" and "catcalls" in those countries... Yet we support this country every day, there's no difference really.

If you think the US and Egypt are comparable in any way you are out of your mind
