    Got this last time it was around this price. It's okay, but they aren't kidding when they say it's for "personal air filtering". Wish I would have got a slightly larger unit (edit: the room I have is roughly 14'x11'. It certainly impacts the air quality but on high, it's quite noisy, so I have it set to low)

    I bought this same deal a couple months ago I have it in my office at work. I can't really comment on how effective it is but it seems to tame my allergies a bit. I am very happy with how quiet it is on the low setting.

    On the lowest setting it's like a low volume white noise. On high, forget about it. Since last deal, I'm already on my second carbon filter. I left it on 24/7 for a good month.

    you are correct for your size room you would need a bigger unit

    I have what i consider to be their best unit for a smaller room/bedroom, Levoit 300S

    Retails for $150, always on sale on Amazon [amazon.com] for $100-130

    It is WiFi so you control all settings via your phone ive never stepped to the unit unless cleaning it

    Speaking of cleaning and whether or not it affects air, our cleaner sweeps and mops floors once a week and my 300S still collects so much dust its mind blowing.

    Every few weeks I take the filter out and vacuum all the dust that has collected and it's a considerable amount considering the size of the room, people will say they dont make a difference with air quality but thats the furthest from the truth
