Yes, it's the older slightly more annoying design. The 11" version (if bought with 8 gb of ram) would perform much better and have better typing ability.

EOL June 2028. Yes lags with too many tabs open. But is good enough for browsing, using Google docs and streaming video. My daughter uses it for middle school, it has been good. Has android play store. Supports USI stylus, bit too much lag to be good drawing tablet. No microSD. Good battery life. For this price this is great as a travel and edc note taking. Comes with keyboard. Cons: no memory slot, keyboard is small and odd layout, one USB-C port, no headphone jack, poor cameras (meh for video conferencing but useable)
To those complaining about a $100 device having only 4GB of RAM, be realistic with your expectations and use case.
No, this device cannot be used as a primary device for many reasons.
- It is a tablet first, laptop second. As expected, the keyboard on a sub 11" device is cramped. The Duet is mostly restricted to flat surfaces for laptop use, due to the keyboard locking mechanism not being rigid.
- With 4GB of RAM don't expect to have dozens of tabs open. Navigating between a handful of tabs works without them being killed and reloaded.
- The max resolution when hooked to an external display is 1600x900.
With that said, if used as a device for light browsing, media consumption, and pen note taking it works great.
- The display is sharp and battery life is over 10 hours.
- It has support for note taking with USI pens, such as the Lenovo USI Pen.
- It has support for Android and Linux apps. With it being an ARM CPU it will have better compatibility than an x86 CPU.
Even at its original price, this thing rocks! I've rarely experienced performance issues. The screen is pretty darn nice. Battery life is great. The build is sturdy. Even the keyboard is good, though the trackpad can be a bit of a pain. The biggest complaint I have about it is the fabric on the stand doesn't wear well and tends to fray.

I purchased more than a year ago in Walmart at the same price.
