Erythritol is the #1 ingredient after water. Google erythritol. "We were looking for compounds in blood that predict risk for experiencing a future heart attack or stroke. The top candidate that kept showing up was erythritol,"

Artificial Sweetener Erythritol's Major Health Risks [clevelandclinic.org]

This was a very large study (over 1000 subjects) and people with high Erythritol usage had twice the heart attack/stroke risk.

If you are young with no issues perhaps its OK. Certainly do not offer a can to anyone with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or others at risk. It stays in your system many days.
Those numbers are off for every one that I personally drink
rockstar 240mg
Monster 140mg
Ghost 200mg

And bang is correct at 300mg.

And I don't drink redbull but a quick search shows it at 80mg
Rockstar comes in multiple different levels of caffeine. 160mg, 240mg and 300 mg.

The fact that I know this off the top of my head probably means I have a issue with energy drinks lol.

That study was debunked and considered false based on info nearly immediately. Dietary erythritol has morning to do with natural occurring erythritol

Associated risk means nothing. Until there's an RCT I would be a skeptic. Show real science instead of possible

More important how does this taste?
Red is like fruit punch and silver is like pineapple. I would say they taste pretty good when compared with other sugar free energy drinks but that might not be saying much if you don't like the energy drink taste to begin with.

For no sugar, I would rate the flavor near the top of my list. For all the other aspects of an energy drink, probably near the middle.

I get that I can get the 20% discount if I add $50 of these cans to checkout but what if I wanted to take advantage of the extra 5% off with Subscribe and Save? I want to get 3 of the white kind and 2 of the red but the way they do S&S is that they want you to checkout one at a time. Will I still get the 20% discount if I add these cases one at a time to S&S or does it have to be all in one go?
Last time i ordered 6 cases together without the S&S and took the 20% off $50 instead. It was when they were in sale for around $8 a case.

Now the bad news: these cans are like the thinnest aluminum cans I've ever seen. The original order was split into 2 shipments and neither one made it. Replacements were sent and those were also damaged in shipping so they weren't delivered. 5th attempt arrived but damaged and leaking, so I lost several cans that leaked through the box all over my kitchen floor.

It's a horrible idea to ship 3 cases loose in a big box but apparently thats the only way they do it. I like the drinks but the shipping was such a problem I no longer order these. Monster and Mountain Dew energy drinks come in their own heavy duty boxes that have cardboard dividers separating every can, while Amazon sends their own drink brand in plastic shrinkwrap in a regular Amazon box too big to prevent everything from getting beat up.

You can afford to be skeptical if you have low risk for Heart Attack / Stroke.

If you are in a high risk group like I am it would be totally nuts for me to continue to consume erythritol even if the the study's findings are only possibly correct. Why take the chance?

It is much easier to choose other low calorie sweetener options that are not currently suspected of increasing heart attack risk by 50%.
