Jenson[jensonusa.com] has the Shimano XT BR-M8100 Mountain Bike Disc Brake on sale for $87 when you use Promo Code SAVE20 at checkout. Price is per wheel. You'll need to order front and back if you want a set.
Code does work, I just tried it. I am a bit surprised because usually you can't use discount codes on Shimano and it is on sale already as stated above. However, most want the 4 piston brakes these days…

I'm a bit dull when it comes to these - do I need to buy separate brake lines and whatever else bleeding entails or do they come already connected to the caliper and ready to just screw in and install?
Figured I would swap out the mechanical disc brakes that came with that Minnesota Fat Bike I just bought from The House liquidation sale.
Edit: I bought these, but already have buyers remorse... lol
According to this review: https://www.mbr.co.uk/reviews/dis...disc-brake they do have to be bleed and custom installed. That is perfectly fine... the problem is these apparently have an air contamination (my words) issue and will require consistent maintenance with a FULL rigorous bleed every so often.... sounds like a pain.
It finishes by saying they would just go with the 6100, which they point out uses the same pads, two piston assembly and roughly... the same damn brake.
Maybe someone with real world experience can chime in.

If you purchased the ones in the OP's link and have external hose routing then you should be fine. I upgraded my '16 Stumpy with these several years ago and they came ready assembled and pre-bled.
Good find. I just had to replace a lever on my 6 yr old bike. Better to buy this whole set up. I have 4 sets currently between mine and kids bike. Very tempting to grab another set for my next build.

My xtr front brake was leaking oil from the brake housing , perfect time for replacement.
Thanks
4 pistons just feel better and stop you with less effort. you don't NEED em but once you have felt that power it is hard to go back.
