That 100 min runtime is on the lowest setting and it barely picks up crumbs at that setting. Think 10-20 min for usability.

The replacement head attachments can cost you around 100-150 on eBay (new) so I'd say it's not a bad deal. I had to buy the carpet cleaner head because the one that came with the vacuum was clogged with hair and the motor gears broke...I actually opened and checked. So if you do get it just make sure to clean it regularly.
has anyone gotten an adapter to use with their Dewalt or Milwaukee batteries instead?
My only complaint with this vacuum is this. Both will eventually break, or become unusable and the replacement cost is nearly the same as a refurb vacuum.
