I have one and where it is exactly as advertised, when you charge it both the battery pack and charger get hot. Lithium getting that hot makes me nervous so I charge it in the garage. As to cables and charging block, look to the 65w Anker charging block and cables to get this thing topped up quick.

If you are nervous about the unit catching fire you really shouldnt charge it out of sight.

Just received this from prior deal.

It DOES have 140w charging in/out which is from USB PD 3.1 EPR which indicates it can do 5 amps at 28 volts = 140 watts.

Since it does have USB PD 3.1 you would think it also has PPS. It claims to have PPS, but something is wrong with the implementation of it. My Samsung Galaxy Flip4 will not charge on it at all. It continuously connects, negotiates charge, begins ramping up, and then disconnects and renegotiates again. It just cycles over and over and over. For a split second on the first connection it does indicate that it is "Super Fast Charging" which on the Flip4 is 25w using PPS, but it will not stay in this mode.

Summary: If you need 140w... it's great. If you want to use PPS to super fast charge a Samsung phone... skip it.

This thing is a god send. Its gotten me through storms, vacations, road trips. Confirmed that it sends 140w PD 3.1 to my Macbook Pro Max and charges it just as fast as the included big block charger.

That only thing that sucks is there is no included PD 3.1 charger, so I have to use my MacBook brick to charge this at 140w, PD 3.1 chargers are currently selling for nearly $100 as well.

I was on the fence for 6 months if i should buy this. I ended up buying it on amazon a few weeks ago when it was $99. I decided to upgrade from the 733 battery/plug combo that i used for a couple of years.

Although i read alot of reviews, i didn't realize that this does not have a plug builtin like the 733. Shame on me. So now i have to carry another charger in my bag with this brick.

In regards to actual use. If i plugin my macbook air m2 and my ipad m2 and work, the battery will be fully depleted in about 3 hours. I then tried just plugging in my macbook and then daisy chain charging through the macbook to see if it would help with making the time longer, but it did not.

I am on the fence with returning it, but i do like that i have a small brick when I am really in a bind and need juice to charge.

The marketing for this is great, but when i finally got it, it was a disappointment.

If you have the time, charge using a slower charger (12-20w) overnight, etc

If you're worried about heat you should charge it slower. It's one think you charge a phone battery at 140 watts which tops off in 30 minutes and then this. The heat will build up and not have time to dissipate. Charge it slower for longevity unless in a pinch.
