Shoot, paid $49 on Amazon last week, and I thought that was a deal. Good headset, fits a bit tight on my huge head, microphone is really great quality, look up microphone tests on Youtube to hear it for yourself.
Only downside is a non-replacable cord, looks like I'll be splicing it myself if something happens to it.
I bought these for a secondary pair just in case my Arctis 9s ever break.
Not going to lie, I feel of all the mainstream gaming accessory brands, Corsair is one of the worst in terms of producing clean quality sound.
I've tried several headsets of theirs over the years and they always have this tiny soundstage regardless of using your own equalizer (PEACE + Equalizer APO =excellent) or their own software. It just doesn't sound very good.
For a back up pair or those on a budget, sure.
Just a note -
50mm neodymium drivers doesn't mean anything if the crossover board is pure junk.
It's like putting a civic engine in a Ferrari chassis.
