Most people forget that ice can be lower than freezing.
This ice is right at that point and melts quickly, the idea is to take the ice made here and stick it into your freezer, then use.
Alternatively, you can use it to make smoothies and stuff actively for large volume use, but it's good to have around at small parties, big parties - you just need to buy the ice bags.
When I know we are going to have a smoothie type day, summer, I will start making ice and bag them and freeze them and make about 2 gallon side bags or so of them to make about 10-14 smoothies depending on sizes.
Throw in some boba etc.
But yes the use case scenario for this product is relative narrow, but I use it all the time.
