Some people say its not worth it coz of the time/preparation, but i notice some ice cream out there are pretty expensive, like $8-13 a pint. If i buy those (which i rarely do lol) on a regular basis, then this machine is a no brainer. Haha

As an ice cream maker, it just doesn't seem to cut it. I'm still a bit curious, because the function I think it would be best for--milkshakes--isn't one they tested. But I also can't justify even this much for a milkshake machine to take up space on the counter.

My wife asked me to buy this for her because she's on a strict diet training for a competition. She has to count her calories and macros. She follows a lady on IG who uses one of these and posts her recipes. She posted a recipe that was 33g protein, 15g carbs, 1g of fat and only 207 calories for the whole pint! Just don't use the can pineapple only. Mine ended up tart and bitter didn't like it. Add sweetener or mix it with milk.
I'd definitely recommend one, but it's not quite as convenient as you'd think. It's still way better than buying pints though. That part is 100% true.
