They don't really have holes. It's basically like a big sleeve/sock inside a regular croc. While I didn't buy from this deal, they are comfy for the right person. I needed bigger than my normal size since these are winter shoes and you actually should wear socks with this one.

I know Slickdealers generally frown upon those that comment on clothes and shoe posts just to tell other people that they think it looks ugly, but for this one maybe we should make an exception.

They are so disgusting that I'm seriously considering buying my wife a pair just to see her reaction.

I don't think the person you were replying to meant holes all the way through. I think they meant it was an incredibly stupid idea to have holes in the croc part allowing stuff to get in between it and the sleeve liner. The reviews that say snow does get in, and this review below shows that they are in fact made in way to allow that to happen.
