I have the round ones that I got off of a SD for $30 I think. Kind of a limited purpose for these things. Sound isn't good enough for any type of music, so basically just for podcasts. They're an interesting novelty, I guess. But definitely not super practical
anyone know a decent frugal prescription lense option for these?

Got one last year, really like it so i got another one as spare in case they discontinue this model LOL.. work well, unlock my phone with face ID without remove the glasses.. I used mostly as sunglass using the shade lens. The volume is pretty low, similar to putting your phone speaker to your ear,

I like them but the hinges are super weak. Any slight force will bend/break them.

Wow killer deal. obvioulsy limited use case, but I use mine all the time at work on computer, I can listen to videos but still be able to hear around me, I wouldn't listen to music but for $40 nothing else really comes close.

Got one last year and only used it 2 times, the use case for this product is extremely limited or even nonexistent.

They also look kind of goofy

I grabbed a pair of these last year for $60 if i remember correctly

They work great, better than i thought they would, I only use the sunglass lense and wear them while walking my dog, I feel i have better situational awareness with these on compared to my noise canceling earbuds

The sound isn't bad either and i can talk to people while listening to music and they have no idea that music is playing

At this price i may snag another pair just to keep at the office with the blue light lenses on

I'm in an online meeting wearing these right now with the blue light blocking lenses. It's fantastic for work.

The only thing I want is some kind of 'dock' to charge them. I'd imagine it'd be easy to mold something that you could set it on and it'll charge, but my guess is that since these weren't too popular no one's bothered making it.

Edit: Yup I guess someone already made something you can print: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4838950

I was going to pick these up as I have been using the Jlab version that clips onto your own eye wear. But after reading some posts saying these are limited in use, mainly I'm assuming because they are tinted as sunglasses and can't use them indoors, I'm think maybe not for me then.

But I can recommend the jlab version which i have on my prescription glasses with Transitions so indoors or out i always have them with me. The Jlab ones are really decent. Not great but I like them because I always have my Bluetooth with me ready to go. Just takes a moment to turn them on and connect. Listening to music is HiFi but it's still better than nothing. Think of it like your own personal mall/store music playing. Keep it on low to medium and it's a nice background music. If your looking for something to just focus on music and all its notes I'd just recommend getting over the ear headphones or whatever else you like that's comparable.

I own a pair. Super bulky, even the smaller size. Large will look huge and I have a M/L head and went with the "small" which is like normal avg sunglass size. The large will look comically huge unless you're shrek

Get a cheap phone with 3.5mm jack. (Samsung A50)
Buy some plug-in headphones with mic. ($5)
Put the mic near your ear.
Record your meetings.

They come with blue light blocking clear lenses.
I think the comments were referring to the sound level.
They are not a 1:1 replacement for earbuds in a noisy environment.
Great for
- desk jocky work at home
- walking (quiet trail)
- shopping
- car
- watching TV in bed
